Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 4, 2026

1. Agreement to These Terms

Welcome to SWBS Recruiting ("SWBS," "we," "us," "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and the services we offer, including college basketball recruiting and consulting, transfer-portal advising and representation, and our Recruiting Prep School clinics and camps.

By using this website, registering for our services, or contacting us through our forms, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

2. About Our Services

SWBS Recruiting is a basketball recruiting and consulting agency founded by Coach Lee Williams. We provide:

  • Recruiting & consulting for high school student-athletes (freshmen through seniors), college athletes in the transfer portal or looking to enter it, grad transfers, and international/overseas recruits aspiring to play U.S. college basketball.
  • Transfer-portal advising and representation helping college athletes navigate the portal, eligibility requirements, and the path to the right program.
  • Recruiting Prep School 1-2 day preparation clinics and comprehensive basketball camps designed to prepare athletes for college-level competition.
  • Evaluation, academic, and financial guidance college admission and scholarship assistance, eligibility and college-credit planning, SAT/ACT preparation, transportation and itinerary logistics, and fundraising/financial support resources.

Our mission is to coach, teach, and guide athletes and their families through the recruiting process with integrity, honesty, professionalism, and transparency.

3. No Guarantee of Placement

We work hard to put every athlete in the best position to succeed. However, placing a student-athlete into a college program is never guaranteed.

Final decisions about admissions, scholarships, and athletic participation rest entirely with colleges, universities, and their coaching staffs, and are subject to circumstances beyond our control including, but not limited to: NCAA, NAIA, or NJCAA eligibility rules, academic requirements, roster limits, and the athlete's own skill, health, and academic performance.

Our commitment is in writing: if we don't get a player into a college program, we keep trying. If we ultimately can't, we work out a prorated refund as described in Section 6 below.

4. Eligibility for Services and Consent for Minors

Our services serve student-athletes of high school age and up, and any client under 18 years of age (a "Minor") must be registered with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must review and agree to these Terms on the Minor's behalf.

By registering a Minor, the parent or guardian confirms they:

  • Consent to SWBS evaluating, marketing, and representing the Minor for recruiting purposes;
  • Agree to participate in the recruiting process (including interviews and communications);
  • Authorize SWBS to share the Minor's athletic and academic information with college coaches, scouts, and educational institutions as part of the recruiting process.

International athletes should understand they may be required to put extra time, energy, and effort into the U.S. college eligibility and qualification process.

5. Fees and Payment

There is no charge to register or to have a short phone interview with us.

Fees for recruiting, consulting, and transfer representation vary by service and by client, and will be explained to you clearly before you commit to any paid service.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, fees are payable as described in your service agreement, and services may be paused or withheld if payment becomes overdue.

6. Refund Policy

From time to time, a player or family may feel a different direction is needed. Regardless of the outcome, our job also involves mentoring, and we will always communicate honestly about your athlete's path forward.

7. Transfer Portal and NCAA Compliance Disclaimer

SWBS provides consulting, advising, and representation services within the rules set by the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, and other governing bodies. It is the client's responsibility to understand and comply with applicable eligibility, recruiting, and amateurism rules, and to disclose any circumstance that could affect their eligibility. SWBS does not guarantee eligibility, NCAA certification, or clearance for any athlete, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the NCAA, NAIA, or NJCAA.

8. Affiliated Programs

SWBS Recruiting is affiliated with Team Fusion, a nonprofit girls travel basketball club based in the El Paso, Texas area and founded by Coach Lee Williams. Team Fusion operates alongside, but separate from, SWBS Recruiting, and has its own programs, registration, and policies. Placement in Team Fusion or any other club or league is subject to that program's own rules and availability.
