SWBS Recruiting ("SWBS," "we," "us," "our") is a basketball recruiting and consulting agency that helps high school student-athletes, college transfers, and international recruits pursue U.S. college basketball. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.
We keep it simple: we do not sell your personal information, we do not spam you, and we only collect what we need to serve you.

When you register, contact us, or use our services, you may provide us with:
Contact information: your name, email address, phone number, and the athlete's name;
Athlete information: grade level, high school or college, position, height/weight, academic and test-score information (including SAT/ACT), athletic history, highlight content, and other details relevant to recruiting;
Family and financial details: information you choose to share relating to college costs, funding needs, and fundraising efforts;
Messages: anything you include when contacting us through our forms, by phone, or by email.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we may automatically collect basic technical information as you browse, such as your browser type, device type, pages visited, and general location data (e.g., city or country). We may use cookies or similar technologies where the site uses them, and any such use will be described on this page. You can usually control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Respond to your inquiries and schedule your free phone interview;
Evaluate athletes and provide recruiting, consulting, and transfer-portal representation services;
Create online athlete profiles and market athletes to college coaches, scouts, and programs (only with your consent, as described in Section 5);
Assist with college admission, scholarship, eligibility, and financial planning;
Administer clinics, camps, and club programs;
Improve our website and services;
Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
4. Our Commitment Not to Sell
We do not and will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Period.
5. How We Share Information
We share information only in limited, necessary circumstances:
With your consent marketing the athlete: A core part of our service is marketing the athlete's academics, skills, and character to college coaches, scouts, and programs across the country. By agreeing to work with us, you consent to us sharing the athlete's recruiting profile, video, and relevant athletic and academic information with colleges and recruiting networks for that purpose.
With affiliated programs: We may share relevant information with affiliated programs such as Team Fusion (a nonprofit girls travel basketball club) where you or your athlete will participate in their programs.
With service providers: We may share information with trusted companies that help us operate the website, communicate with clients, or process payments, under contracts that require them to protect your information.
As required by law: We may disclose information where required by law, court order, or government request, or where necessary to protect the safety and rights of our clients, staff, or others.
6. Children and Minors
Our services serve student-athletes who are often under 18 years of age. If a Minor registers for our services, we will only collect their information with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Parents & guardians: You can ask to review the information we hold about your athlete, request corrections, or ask that we stop using their information at any time (see Section 10). We encourage parents to stay involved in every step of the recruiting process.
7. International Users
SWBS serves athletes in the United States, Europe, and overseas. If you are located outside the United States, please understand that the information you provide will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our agency operates. By providing your information, you consent to that transfer.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable local laws, including the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may exercise these rights by contacting us (Section 10). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. How We Protect Your Information
We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, and disclosure. We carefully manage all client data we receive through our forms, email, and phone calls.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so while we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide our services, respond to your needs, and meet legal or accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

Request a correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
Request deletion of your information, subject to legal and professional record-keeping obligations;
